PATTERN

Create a magic ring OR chain 4, slip stitch in first chain

Round 1: In the mr place 8 sc. Pull tail tightly to close the ring. Do NOT join. Place stitch marker in last                    stitch. (8 sc)

Round 2: (inc) around. (16 sc)

Round 3: (inc, sc) around. (24 sc)

Round 4: (inc, 2 sc) around. (32 sc)

Round 5: (inc, 3 sc) around. (40 sc)

Round 6: (inc, 4 sc) around. (48 sc)

Round 7: sc around. (48 sc)

Round 8: (dec, 4 sc) around. (40 sc)

Round 9: (dec, 3 sc) around. (32 sc)

Round 10: (dec, 2 sc) around. (24 sc)

Round 11: (dec, sc) around. (16 sc)

Before the final round use your hook to pull the starting tail through to the outside. We're going to use it at the end to finish the scrubby.

Round 12: (dec) around. Fasten off. (8 sc)

With your tapestry needle, weave your end tail through the front loop of each stitch. Pull the tail to cinch and close the hole.

To finish, I like to weave my end tail back and forth through the center a few times to essentially sew the two sides together. This will prevent the two sides from pulling apart and ensure that your scrubby stays in a flat, disc shape. Make sure you end with both tails on the same side. Tie the tails in a knot and you're done!
